Home · Why DropSpot

Local people. Real proof. Pay only when it's done.

Flyers left in a pile help nobody. DropSpot is built so you can see the work and hold the money until you are happy.

Six steps from “we need this out” to “that’s done”

The same six steps every time, so both sides always know exactly where a job stands.

01

Post the job

Set your distribution area on the map, how many flyers, and when the work must happen. Save it as a draft and finish it later if you need to.

02

Nearby people apply

Spotters whose work area covers your streets see the job and apply. They know the pay before they do.

03

Pick your spotter

Compare who applied, check their rating and verification, then choose. Message them in the app to agree on the details.

04

They collect the flyers

Your spotter picks the material up from the address and time window you set, so nothing goes missing in between.

05

The drop gets done

They distribute in your target area and submit proof from the ground — photos and location, not just a promise.

06

You approve, they get paid

Review the proof and approve. Only then is the money released. If something is wrong, you can ask for it to be put right.

Built so both sides can trust the job

Hiring a flyer distributor has a reputation problem: nobody can prove the work was done. DropSpot is built to fix exactly that.

Money held until you approve

Funds are secured when the job starts and released only once you accept the work.

Proof from the ground

Spotters check in on location and submit photos, so you can see the drop really happened.

Verified people

Spotters submit identity documents for review before they can take on paid work.

Everything in one place

Posting, applications, chat, proof and payment all live in the app — no scattered WhatsApp threads.

Flyer distributors across South Africa

DropSpot is a national app. A job is only shown to people who have set a work area that reaches those streets, so a flyer distributor in Johannesburg is not offered a drop in Durban. There is no separate call to book a “Johannesburg team” — you post the area on the map, and if someone nearby can do it, they apply.

  • Matched to the area, not the country

Spotters set the area they actually work in. Your job is only shown to flyer distributors who can reach those streets.

  • You decide how wide to go

Pin the centre of your campaign and set the radius. Suburb-tight or town-wide, it is your call.

  • Priced from the real job

The price comes from your flyer count, the area you have chosen and the time you need it in — not a guess over the phone.
