What exactly is DropSpot?+
DropSpot is a South African app that connects businesses with nearby flyer distributors, called Spotters. Businesses post jobs and choose a Spotter; Spotters collect and deliver flyers, submit proof and get paid after approval.
Is the app free?+
Yes. DropSpot is free to download. Spotters never pay to find or apply for work. Businesses pay for the distribution jobs they post and see the cost before committing.
How do payments work?+
The business secures the job payment upfront. It is held while the work is completed and released to the Spotter after the business reviews the proof and approves the job.
How do I become a Spotter?+
Download the app, create a Spotter profile, choose the area you can cover and submit your identity documents for verification. Once verified, you can apply for available jobs nearby.
Is DropSpot available in my area?+
DropSpot is built for South Africa. The jobs and Spotters available depend on your location. Set your area in the app to see what’s nearby.
What if there’s a problem with a delivery?+
Review the proof before approving the job. If work needs fixing, you can request changes. You can also open a support ticket in the app for help resolving a dispute.
Can I use it on an iPhone?+
DropSpot is currently offered on Google Play for Android. For questions about other platforms, contact hello@dropsa.co.za.
